GENCAT – ADMINISTRATIVE DISTRICT OF THE GOVERNMENT OF CATALONIA, Barcelona

This is the construction of a large office complex for the Government of Catalonia, located in Barcelona's Zona Franca. The project consists of two H-shaped buildings connected by a shared ground floor that houses common services such as rest areas, a canteen, multipurpose rooms, and public service spaces.

With a total surface area that makes it the largest office building in Europe dedicated to a public administration, the complex has been awarded the prestigious WELL certification, which recognizes health, comfort, and user well-being. The design emphasizes environmental sustainability, energy efficiency, and adaptable workspaces, aligning with new models of work.
