BORRELL 159 RESIDENTIAL BUILDING - 35 HPO APARTMENTS, Barcelona

The Borrell 159 building, part of the Espai Germanetes development in Barcelona’s Eixample district, offers 35 new public housing units, primarily social rentals, aimed at vulnerable groups such as families, young people, and those in emergency housing.

This initiative is part of Barcelona’s broader plan to expand public rental housing, with over 70 projects underway to increase affordable living options significantly by 2023.With a focus on social impact, the project supports approximately 80 residents and contributes to the city’s goal of multiplying public housing availability tenfold since 2015.
